Why we exist

Reps spend 5 hours on admin for every 3 hours selling.

We think that's absurd. Not because reps are bad at their jobs — because the tools they're forced to use were never meant to work as one flow.

Gangly exists to make the rep's day one connected workflow instead of twelve disconnected tabs. Signal to outreach to call to CRM. One sequence. No copy-paste.

We care about this because it touches millions of people. Reps are the most over-tooled and under-served workers in SaaS. We want to be the team that actually fixes it.

How we work

Six things that will be true on your first day.

Small team. Big scope.

You won't be the 40th person doing your job. You'll probably be the first or second.

Ship, then meet.

Written docs over standups. Async over sync. Working code over specs that explain working code.

Talk to reps weekly.

Engineers, designers, PMs — everyone sits in on rep calls. If you don't know the user, you can't build for them.

Opinions are welcome. Evidence is better.

"I think" is fine. "Here's what happened when we tried it" is better. Strong opinions, loosely held.

Remote, async-first.

Work from wherever. Overlap a few hours a day with the team timezone. Competitive comp. Real equity.

This is our product principle, and our working principle. We build things that empower people, not replace them.
